Captain Mike Bannister
Mike was involved with Concorde for most of his airline career, starting in 1977 when he became
the youngest Concorde First Officer, right through to 2003 when he was the Chief Pilot
of Concorde at the time that the aircraft retired.
During that time Mike has been actively involved with the media as the airline’s “Voice of Concorde”, championing the aircraft on television and the press. He has given countless talks and lectures in the UK, Europe, and the USA to business, professional organisations, clubs and charities as well as being a firm favourite on cruise lines.
